Santana Golf 19th Dec 2024<\/strong><\/p>

Our last game before Xmas was played at our home course Santana and we were kindly sponsored by Don Crowley.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
On a glorious winters day with temperatures into the 20s and no breeze at all and the course, especially the greens, in excellent condition there was no excuses to be had for bad golf, alas we heard plenty afterwards.<\/div>

Santa Maria 5th December 2024<\/strong><\/p>

Thursdays game was played at Santa Maria and we were kindly sponsored by Brian Wilson who brought along some great prizes of his own so we were able to do a couple of other comps as well as the usual top 3 and Nearest the pins.<\/div>
\u00a0<\/div><\/div>
The extra comps were for those who were back at the Red Dragon for the presentation and these were ,best stableford score on all the par3s and par5s combined and a hidden pairs comp which was drawn out back at the Red Dragon.<\/div>

The course was not at its best with most of the greens very bobbly and some having bare patches on them. It was also a very slow day with rounds taking 5 hours thanks to those we were following.<\/div>
