Miraflores Golf13th Februray 2025
Miraflores was the venue for our latest game and we were kindly sponsored by Dexter Outhwaite.
On a glorious winters day, with temperatures up in the high teens again the course presented it usual challenges with the first few greens especially slow to the first few groups due to having overnight dew on them due to our first tee time being earlier than usual at 9.10.
When the cards had been checked, some taking longer than others due to being either wrong or hard to figure out the writing, it was very close at the top with only 1 point separating the top 4 players with a countback needed for 2nd, 3rd & 4th places.

1st, Dave Errington, 38pts, playing off 9.6, now 8.9.
2nd, Ian Ashworth, 37pts, back 9 of 20pts, playing off 26.5, now 25.6.
3rd, Keith Baker, 37pts, back 9 of 18pts, playing off 13.9, now 13.4.

Next week we are playing at Cabopino with the first tee time at 9.40.
Just to make you all aware that the game at Atalaya on the 6th March we have a later first tee time of 11.27.
Also the game at Parador on the 27th March sponsored by Jamie Watkins will be either a scramble or a pairs comp, this Is yet to be decided.

Santana Golf 6th February 2025
Our home course Santana was the venue for Thursdays game and we were kindly sponsored by “Little” Norman Walker.
This was our first Medal qualifier of the year with the top 2 in each of the gross and net categories going through to the final in November.
When the cards had all come in and all had been marked correctly
there was a 3 way tie in the Gross comp with the winner decided on back 9 score, but in the net category there was a clear winner and his handicap was hacked accordingly.
