El Higueral 18th December 2025
Our last game of 2025 was played at El Higueral and we were kindly sponsored by David Jack.
As usual for this 9 hole course the men played off white tees front 9 and yellow tees back 9, with the ladies playing off yellow then red.
There were some extra prizes on this week so there were various Nearest the pins and other comps.

With the next 2 Thursdays falling on Xmas day and New years day, our next game will be on the 8th January at Santana. This will be the start of all the new comps for 2026 including the main order of merit and also the first 3 monthly mini order of merit comp.

Santana 11th December 2025
Last weeks game was played at our home course Santana and we were kindly sponsored by Don Crowley.
The course as usual lately played long and tough especially with the greens being a bit slow after the previous days rain but alas this did not stop some great scores being posted with the top 3 all scoring more than 36pts.

Next week we play our final game of the year at El Higueral with the first tee time at 10.00.
Going forward into the new year, January and the start of February is our busy time of the year and for most games in this period we are already full with reserves or have an odd place available some weeks. We will do our best to accommodate everyone depending if extra times are available at the courses but as courses are busy sometimes this is not possible.
Parador 4th December 2025
Thursdays game was played at Parador and as normal played its usual tough self especially with greens that were running very quick. We were kindly sponsored by Ray Critcher.
When the cards had been checked and all the usual inquests into the days golf had finished , well nearly, the winners were announced inside the Red Dragon for a change as it was a bit chilly outside for some of the players.

Going forward into the start of next year, we are getting fairly full for most games in January and early February so if you are not a regular and haven’t emailed already you will need to email the society to get your name down , this doesn’t guarantee you a game but you will be on the list of names who want to play that week.
