Santana 27th August 2026
Our home course Santana was the venue for last weeks game and we were kindly sponsored by Steve “Wyndham” Bonsor.
This was our last game in August and also the last game of the summer mini order of merit.
Numbers were slightly up this week which was good to see, although next week at Cabopino numbers are down again from the following week heading towards the ryder cup and beyond till the end of the season in November numbers are back up again which is good to see so if you are wanting to play please email the society.
Back to last week and there were some great scores however 1 score stood out ,getting over 40pts and a big handicap cut

Marbella GCC 20th August 2026
Marbella was the venue for our latest game and we were kindly sponsored by Paul Winter.
We only had a very low turn out this week of 9 players which meant no handicap cutting for the top 3 unless they scored more than 36pts. Fortunately with us getting to near the end of August and the long hot summer numbers are creeping back up next week for Santana with 18 confirmed and 2 spare places if anyone wishes to play.

Miraflores 6th August 2026
he latest game was played at Miraflores and we were kindly sponsored by Andrew Morton.
As usual for August numbers were down but we still had 14 players and most importantly had enough to apply them all important handicap cuts for the top 3.
When the cards had been checked there was a clear winner carrying on his good form and winning by 4pts.

Parador 13th August 2026
10 of us played Parador hoping for the usual breeze that you get there but unfortunately it didnt materialise and it turned into a battle of attrition on the course.
The course was in excellent condition which is hopefully good news for 4 weeks time when we play our last major of the year there , the Open, the week before the Ryder cup.
